Please remember to come a few minutes early on Easter Sunday and to bring flowers for the Easter Cross. The annual parish photo will be taken at the end of the service.

ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT
Following the service in Mardi Gras Park.
Our Children’s Easter Egg hunt for toddlers through grade 2 will take place in
Mardi Gras Park. Please bring a dozen stuffed, plastic eggs (no nuts, chocolate)
for each child by Friday, March 30.

Parking: Street parking is available on Sunday mornings and the city lot across Church Street
from the Cathedral is free on Sunday mornings.

10:00 a.m.: Holy Eucharist: Rite Two
Traditional Service; sermon by the Dean, hymns, The Cathedral Choir, organ. Usually lasts about 80-90 minutes. Immediately following the service everyone is invited to stay in the church for the annual parish photograph. An Easter Egg Hunt for children under grade 2 will be held in Mardi Gras Park after the Parish photograph.
If you are not familiar with Christ Church Cathedral, you may find this information helpful:

The church is located at the corner of Church and St. Emanuel Streets adjacent to Mardi Gras Park.

Our buildings are handicap accessible; the ramp is to the north of the Cathedral. Use the St. Emanuel Street garden entrance. Handicap parking spaces are located in front of the church.

Child care for ages 3 and under is available from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. During the 10 o'clock service children ages 4 through Grade 2 will be invited at the beginning of the service to attend Children's Chapel. They may be picked up after the service in the Chapter House. Children are welcome in our service.

There is no Sunday school for children or adults on Easter Day.

An Easter Egg hunt for Children from birth to grade 2 will be held in Mardi Gras Park immediately following the 10 o'clock service.

We have large attendance at our Easter service, so please plan to arrive early. There is street parking, and public lots across Church Street.

There is no dress code at Christ Church Cathedral. If you want to wear an Easter bonnet or fancy clothes, please do. If you want to wear jeans, please do!
