Think that the church goes on vacation in the summer?  Not at Christ Church Cathedral!  While the pace is certainly different, and our Sunday schedule changes a bit, there is still plenty of life during the summer months.

Worship schedule (June 1 through September 2)
Changes to the Sunday schedule include a break for the Sunday school (it returns in September), and the Wednesday Eucharist is on hiatus.

Office hours
Except for Memorial Day, the week of Independence Day, and Labor Day, the office remains open all summer, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; 251.438.1822.

This summer we will have a casual Vacation Bible School format on Sunday mornings during our regular Children's Chapel time.  The theme is Egypt: Joseph's Journey from Prison to Palace.  Simply have your child join the procession at the beginning of church.  The children will return at the time of The Peace.

Going away this summer?
Will you be away from home and Christ Church Cathedral this summer? We encourage you to worship wherever you are traveling. Each Thursday we will post links on the Welcome page to our live stream of Sunday worship as well as the service bulletin.   You can also listen to sermons preached at the 10:00 a.m. service, on our Web site. Our audio ministry is a wonderful resource not only for those who are traveling, but also for those who are homebound. We know some folks spend significant parts of the summer elsewhere, either at the river, or the beach, or simply taking a week or away for a family vacation.
