HOLY WEEK AND EASTER
The liturgies and devotions of Holy Week are time-honored ways of drawing
nearer to the heart of God. So, whoever you are and
whatever has brought you to this moment at this time,
we welcome you in our journey to a deeper life in God.
Holy Week at the Cathedral
From Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem to his crucifixion and resurrection, Christians through the ages have found that a devotional focus on these last days in the life of Jesus can have a life-changing effect on us in the present. By following in his steps, listening intently to his final words to his dearest friends and to his words from the cross we find ourselves feeling as if our devotional sharing in his passion leads to a deeper sharing in his resurrection.
We pray that what you experience in this time and place will awaken you more completely to the presence of God and to the life that God has prepared for you.
Parking: Street parking is available on Sunday mornings and the city lot across Church Street from the Cathedral is free on Sunday mornings.
Sermons and homilies for these services are posted on the sermons page when they become available.

Palm Sunday Eucharist
Palm Sunday, March 28 at 10:00 am
This year the Liturgy of the Palms will be given from the back of the church.
Everyone is asked to remain seated but to wave your palm branches as if you were processing. Together we will celebrate Christ’s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, his Passion and death,
and his love for us all in this powerful worship service that runs the gamut of our human experience of God. We will exit in silence at the end of the service.
Service of the Simple Presence
Wednesday, March 31 at noon in the Church
We call this a “Simple Presence” service to emphasize that this is a time for quiet reflection
in God’s presence in the middle of the business of life.
Maundy Thursday Eucharist
Maundy Thursday, April 1 at noon in the Church
Gather for an intimate chapel service in remembrance of Christ’s last supper. Feel the veil between earth and heaven stretched thin in remembrance of him who loves us.
Good Friday Liturgy
Good Friday, April 2 at noon in the Church
During this prayer service, draw near to Christ
and his love and example as he suffers and dies on the cross.
